Hello Borton Families and Community Members,

Welcome to another exciting and fun new school year! My name is Eric Eulberg, and I am thrilled to be your principal. My promise to you is to follow through on our school’s mission to “provide an environment that promotes equity and access for all our students in order to maximize their academic and social development”.

I would like to take a moment to give you a little background about my career and educational experiences. I started as an educator teaching Social Studies and coaching basketball at the Fenster Boarding School. I then moved to TUSD during the Fall of 2010 when I started working as a Social Studies teacher and department chair at Palo Verde High Magnet School. I went through the entire turnaround process at that school and was very proud when we did receive our “A” letter grade. I became an MTSS Facilitator at Project MORE in 2016 and I worked there until I was appointed as an Interim Assistant Principal at Booth-Fickett Magnet School. In 2018, I began serving as Assistant Principal of Curriculum at Tucson High Magnet School. I do look forward to applying my experience in Magnet schools to Borton’s theme of Project Based Learning and Systems Thinking, and I am dedicated to ensuring students become 21^st Century learners in our diverse world.
