On December 2, students from Borton’s Girl Scout Troop 446 had the honor of reciting the Pledge of Allegiance at the inauguration of the Tucson City Council—an event made even more special as one of our own Borton mamas was sworn in. It was an inspiring experience for our girls and a meaningful opportunity for these young leaders to witness civic engagement and see their local government in action.

Prioritizing student safety is always our top concern – and that doesn't mean we sacrifice fun! Students had the option to enjoy an active indoor lunch or a quiet lunch, giving everyone a chance to stay cool, stay safe and still have a great time.

We're proud to be a community that stays flexible and responsive, making sure every child is cared for – mind and body – even when the weather doesn't cooperate.

Today our 2nd grade students had a very special audience – the Southern Ariznoa Therapy Dogs!
Reading to these calm, fury, friends gives our young readers the chance to practice in a completely judgement-free space, helping them grow in confiedence and joy as readers.
We are so gratful for this partnership that both literacy and smiles!
